We are friends and alumni of the German Language School Long Island (Deutsche Sprachschule Long Island, www.dssli.org). We are meeting once in a while to have fun, keep contact, and practice German. Share your plan for a field trip or afternoon at the beach with the group. Bring along a friend or family member. Although we welcome and encourage speaking German, we value multilingual conversations, with English likely being the common language.

Open Gamma has already done this successfully with its risk management application. The Lodestone Foundation, sponsored by Deutsche Bank, has …
This group is for anyone interested in spending an hour or two exchanging lively conversation in German. I love to speak German and I'm looking for other enthusiasts to share my stories - auf Deutsch. If folks are interested, this may blossom into a German literature discussion group - but we can also keep it light and fun if a group with no homework sounds better. German speakers of all levels welcome!
